About Sonic
"Snooze ya loose, gotta cruise"!!
Sonic was named after a famous blue hedgehog but he has certainly got his own charm. He is a friendly little guinea pig that is ready to star in his very own home!
Sonic is an energetic, friendly, and curious guinea pig who loves to explore and interact. We are looking for a knowledgeable guinea pig owner who understands his needs or willing to learn how to take care of these little guys. Ideally, he would love a spacious indoor-outdoor enclosure where he can run, explore, and enjoy some sunshine (when safe) while keeping cozy indoors when needed.
Guinea Pigs requires a well-balanced diet that includes fresh hay, vegetables, and a bit of fruit for a treat. He thrives with regular enrichment like tunnels, chew toys, and things to explore. A healthy and stimulating environment will keep him in tip-top piggy fitness!
What Sonic Needs:
A spacious living space to run and explore 🏡
A nutritious diet to stay healthy 🍽️
Plenty of enrichment to keep his mind and body active 🧸
A loving, attentive home that's ready to give him the care and attention he deserves ❤️
Sonic is ready to bring lots of squeaky love and adorable antics into your life. If you think you're the right fit, Sonic would love to meet you!

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
