Hey there, my name is Jared.

I’m a playful, gentle, and loving four-year-old Taurus with beautiful caramel eyes and the softest soul. I’m just starting to discover all the good things in life, like toys, treats, bush walks, and cuddles, and I must say I’m loving every bit of it.

I’m a curious, goofy, and affectionate boy who will have you laughing daily with my silly antics. I love to bury my emotional support toy, stretch out in the sunshine, and dive headfirst into a bucket of water. I’m a total water baby. If it splashes, I’m in. Bush walks, beach days, or muddy puddles? Count me in.

At home, I’m all about connection. I adore cuddles more than anything in the world and will happily spend the evening curled up beside you on the couch, catching up on the day and gossiping about the neighbours (I’m very nosey, after all). My favourite things include neck massages, butt scratches, zoomies, and lying on my human’s lap while sunbaking in the grass.

What I love most in life is feeling close to my people. I thrive on human connection; it’s where I feel safe, grounded, and loved. Once I know I’m truly home, my whole personality shines. I become my happiest, goofiest self, and there is no limit to how much love I’ll give back.

I don’t like to share the spotlight, so I’d be more relaxed in a kid-free home as the only four-legged family member, as other dogs can sometimes be a bit too much for me. I’d also love to live somewhere out of the inner city where I can truly unwind and show my best self.

I’m looking for someone kind and patient who will help me keep building confidence and guide me as I learn about the outside world, with all its sights, sounds, and new experiences. I’m still figuring some of it out, but with love and reassurance I get braver every day. In return, you’ll have a loyal, funny, and affectionate sidekick, a goofy, loving boy who will make you laugh daily and curl into your lap every night.

To make sure everyone is happy, we match each hound with the right family, and we provide lots of support along the way!

All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm (including heartworm) treated. The adoption fee includes our Adopter Kit containing a martingale collar, leash, muzzle and useful information to help you get your new hound settled in.
