About Diego - 9 Year Old Dalmatian
Calling Dalmatian lovers! It’s not often are we asked to help a Dalmatian find his forever home. Diego is ready to live out his halcyon days with his forever family. 9 years young he is fabulous company and he loves being around his people.
Diego loves walks and frolicking at the beach he just loves the water. Diego is best as only dog, or with a dog his own size after a slow introduction. He has not been tested with cats.
True to his breed he likes to think he’s the boss, but with love and kindness and someone teaching him the rules he’ll soon be following your commands. That’s why a family with an understanding of Dalmatian’s or ready to do their research would be good as Dalmatian’s are a special breed and a knowledge of their needs would benefit Diego and his new family.
Diego loves walks and he walks well on lead. He loves going on adventures with his family and being included in their day to day life. He’s an inside dog who will follow you room to room to be near you. He would prefer someone home more often that not, he loves human company. Diego would adore an active retired couple to dote on him spend his days with or someone who works from home. Dog savvy kids over 8 would suit him best.
Diego needs high fencing as he’s a tall fellow. He sleeps through the night and would choose to sleep beside his owners bed if allowed, or a sofa preferring them to his dog beds.
Diego’s adoption fee is $300. He is microchipped, vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks and intestinal worms.
Diego is currently in foster care in Gateshead, Newcastle. He is available for adoption to NSW, QLD, ACT and Victoria.
