Mochi

*In foster care in Narrabeen, Sydney*

With her huge blue eyes, pretty colouring and fluff-tastic tail, marvellous Mochi will sweep you off your feet - and she's just as gorgeous on the inside!

This charming young lady is happy and independent by nature, but she enjoys human company too. For most of the day, she combines long naps with cheeky games of hide and seek under beds and couches, in wardrobes and behind curtains and shutters :) Her downtime is spent bird-spotting and people-watching in a sunny window.

Mochi prefers to wile away the day sleeping and rises from her slumber in the evening for her awake hours. She prefers female company, we suspect perhaps someone was unkind to her which has left a lasting impression on her trust of others. She is social but on her terms and can take some time to settle in and come out from under the bed although she is getting braver after some time in foster care. She adores a good brush to keep her beautiful coat looking its best!

Like all Maggie's pets, Mochi is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will have lots of windows for me to spy through, and a few great hiding spots. I love pouncing out and giving my foster parents a surprise!

My dream home will also have an enclosed outdoor area where I can snooze in the sunshine and feel the fresh air on my face.

MY ENERGY LEVEL: You'll barely know I'm here during the day, but as the sun goes down my energy levels turn right up! Think playing with toys (or flies if I'm lucky), and racing past you like lightning on mad tours of the house. I prefer to come to you for pats on my terms, but if you're feeling needy I'll happily submit to a cuddle - you'll just have to catch me first!

MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Though I haven't met any kids yet, I'm a big fan of calm people with a relaxed vibe, no matter their age or size. Just give me a minute to settle in and get used to my new digs and I'm sure we'll all be BFFs in no time :)

MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I always meow back when I hear another cat, but that's the only contact I've had with pets. We could always give it a try?
