About Cleo
Introducing Cleo!
Cleo is a Staffy x born 10th January 2022.
Cleo was brought into the facility as a stray, however her microchipped owners claim to have rehomed her. Neither owner came forward to collect.
Cleo has clearly had several litters before coming to us, so we are excited she can now live the rest of her life as the main love interest of her future family.
Cleo has quickly won the hearts of staff & volunteers and she's an incredibly sweet & affectionate girl. She is also very food motivated, but takes her treats quite gently.
Cleo unfortunately has not been happy meeting other dogs, so we believe she would be happier living life as a spoilt "only child".
Cleo was unfazed by cats & pocket pets (she even got bit by one of our cranky cats & just walked away from her). We believe Cleo could be suitable to live with smaller animals if given a slow & controlled introduction to them.
She still has so much to learn about the world and would love to be in a home where she is included as a member of the family. Cleo will thrive in an environment that guides her with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
Cleo has shown no signs of food aggression or separation anxiety since being at the facility.
Cleo's adoption fee is $500 and includes her desexing & lifetime registration. Cleo is also regularly treated for flea and worms and is up to date with her vaccinations.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
