About Lenny
**** to apply for Lenny please visit our website at www.animalrescue.org.au to complete an Adoption Enquiry Form ****
Meet Lenny, a sweet and affectionate Moodle (Maltese-Poodle mix) who is eager to find a special person or family to help him shine. Rescued from a life of confinement, Lenny is now embracing the world and is on a journey to discover the joys of being a cherished companion. Despite his past, his heart is full of love, and he is ready to share it with someone who can guide him as he navigates new experiences.
Lenny loves chew toys. He's shown that he is okay with car rides and is content when traveling, making him a wonderful buddy for future road trips and adventures. Importantly, Lenny needs to be the only dog in the household as he is currently anxious around other dogs.
While Lenny is mostly toilet-trained, he may have occasional accidents, especially if he's feeling particularly anxious. He's receiving lots of love and guidance in his recall training, which is progressing well, and with kind dedication and patience, this eager-to-learn pup is sure to become a well-rounded dog. He is even okay living with a cat.
Lenny needs love and guidance, so if you're ready to embark on this new chapter with him and turn his journey into a joyous adventure, he just might be the dog for you!
Lennys ideal home:
- ongoing training with a patient and loving person
- some understanding of training and dog behaviour, or willing to learn
- someone who is home a lot
- no children in the home
- cats are ok
Lenny has been very lucky to have been fostered by Nic, a Certified Behavioural Coach in Brisbane. Ongoing contact with Nic is possible, as well as plenty of great tips and advice from her for Lennys new family.
Lenny is only able to be adopted in SE Queensland.
