About Leonardo
Meet Leonardo, the leader of the Ninja Turtles! This little boy is always at the front of the pack. He always needs to know what's going on. If you're doing something, he'll come and make sure you're doing a good job and ask for pats while you're doing it, just to test your skill levels.
He leads his brothers on lots of great adventures - walking across the piano while the lid is up, exploring new tunnels and boxes, testing out recently cleaned litter trays, hunting toy mice - and anything else that looks like lots of fun.
He's great not just with his brothers, but also with the other cats in his foster home. He loves making new friends. He's also fine with the dogs in the house, but gets a bit cranky with them when they get too close and bark at him. Fair call, that's not OK!
He's happy to be scooped up by the kids in his foster home. Really he's just happy to get a pat from anyone!
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
