About Violet and Klaus
Klaus (or Klausy-mouse to his foster family) and his sister Violet are such friendly happy little cats. They're a great pair. Klaus is super playful and cheeky. He loves to chase the other foster cats in the house, who get annoyed with him sometimes, but Violet has endless patience and energy for her brother.
Violet is definitely the cuddly one. She can be shy with new people at first (as opposed to Klaus who will demand belly rubs from anyone who comes into the house), but once she knows you she loves to be scooped up for a cuddle, jump on your lap or curl up with you in bed.
They're utterly adorable when they curl up together, and if one of them is in one part of the house, the other one will go looking for them. We'd hate to split them up. They're just so great together.
Because Klaus tends to not respect other cat's space, we think they'd be better in a household with no other cats. They're both great around dogs though. Their foster home as two dogs who they get along with fabulously. They're also great with kids.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
