About Bluebelle
Introducing Bluebelle, a beautiful nearly three year old Cocker Spaniel cross. Bluebelle has the overall appearance of a smaller Bloodhound and has a gorgeous short shiny red coat so is easy care.
Bluebelle likes to search for scents with her nose to the ground, regularly checking the perimeters like a security guard.
Bluebelle and her sibling Sage are both available to good forever homes. Blue will alarm bark when she hears strange sounds, but with time to settle into a new environment we expect that will reduce, but she does have a nice big bark so is good “guard” dog.
Bluebelle is good with people, children and other dogs, although she needs gradual introduction to new dogs. She is house trained and uses the doggy door. She has been sleeping in the kitchen quietly. Blue has come from a rural property and we are told she is good off-leash. She loves going in the vehicle and doesn't appear to be competitive over food.
Bluebelle is quite adventurous and outgoing. She adores attention and greets you warmly even if you’ve been gone for two minutes, she will stay right by your side if she can. She needs to keep an eye on what’s going on in and around the house. She's a full-time supervisor.
Overall Bluebelle will make a beautiful companion for some lucky family or person. Blue and Sage are being fostered by a mature couple and are obedient and easy to manage although we haven’t been walking them on lead, they have been very eager on our trip to the vet for vaccs updates so will probably need someone strong or the use of a gentle leader or Luca lead.
