Toby (On Trial)

toby is 2 to 3 year old foxy cross. He's a very sweet, shy little man who loves hugs and kisses. He's great with other dogs and fantastic with kids. He's house trained and loves being inside. He's a people dog: he just loves to be around people! toby is currently being fostered by a family with children aged from 10yrs to 10 months and he fits right in. He enjoys fetching a ball, going for walks and playing with stuffed toys. . . Toby comes when called. When on lead he needs to use a harness because he slips out of a collar. He is really great off lead and stays very close. Like any terrier, he will chase cats and bark at them but we doubt if he'd ever hurt one. . . . . No problems with food; he eats more or less anything and no food aggression at all. Toby puts up with a 10 month old baby wanting to share!. . . He's very people focused and needs to be inside when people are home. He doesn't like to be left home alone for long periods so toby wouldn't be suited to a family where everyone goes off to work and school all day. A forever home with a stay-at-home parent or retired people would be ideal for toby. He currently sleeps outside in a kennel wearing a coat but it would be nicer for this little guy if he were allowed in the house or laundry at night. . . . He loves squeaky toys and sitting on your lap and adventures in the car. . . . Toby is very loyal and really bonds closely with his carers. He's low maintenance and a very intelligent. Toby is in foster care in muswellbrook, nsw (past singleton, in the hunter valley), but his foster carers are able to bring him to newcastle any time during weekends if you would like to meet him.
