About Arlo
Meet Arlo, a loving and gentle canine who's all about making his humans happy. This sweet dog is brimming with affection and thrives on pleasing those he cherishes.
Arlo's journey has had its ups and downs, but since entering foster care, he's shown just how eager he is to learn and share his earnest heart with a new family.
Arlo has comfortably acclimated to living with two other dogs, showing that he enjoys play but also respects when it's time to take a break. An older dog companion would be beneficial for him, providing guidance and companionship that he seems to thrive on.
Our boy currently lives in a multi-cat household, at this stage he hasn't been let off the lead due to him showing a high interest in feline friends. While he hasn't yet learned to coexist with cats, Arlo's gentle nature leads us to believe that, with patient guidance, he can develop a harmonious relationship with them.
He would do best in a home that values structure and growth, with regular visits to local obedience classes as part of the routine. Such an environment will not only reinforce his training but also allow him to continue growing into the well-rounded dog we know he can be.

PLEASE DO NOT CALL US!**
We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.

We only consider applicants that have completed our adoption application form. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1) Email and ask for an adoption application to be sent on farmdogzrescueinc@gmail.com
2) Check your SPAM FOLDER
3) Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form.
4) This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.
5) If you are successfully shortlisted, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a time for you to meet the dog in question.
6) A home visit will need to be conducted.
7) Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2-4 week trial period immediately.
8) The adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
9) During the first week 2 week trial period, we encourage you to follow all our instructions to ensure the dog settles into your family structure.
10) If during the trail period you should need any assistance or you decide that this dog is not for you, you MUST contact our state adoptions coordinator ASAP. (The more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available.)
Please note if the decision is made for you to return the dog for you to receive your payment you will, within 10 business days of the return of the dog.
