About Lucy
Dearest Potential Puppy Parent,
My name is Lucy, and I'm writing to you all the way from sunny Carina, just outside of Brisbane.
Let me tell you, my story started a little rough. Picture this: and old towel soaking wet and covered in, well, let’s just say not puppy perfume. That was my first home – a soggy cardboard box outside a country pound, shared with my siblings, Billy and Bella. It wasn't exactly the Ritz, but hey, we had each other 😊
But now, oh boy, things are different! I'm living the high life with my foster parents, Lorena and Graeme. They've got a super cool yard with more toys than I can chew (though I'm certainly giving it a good try). They feed me delicious food and give me so many cuddles. It's basically puppy paradise, but a little something's missing... and that's you!
Okay, so I might be a little biased, but I think I'm pretty much the perfect puppy. I'm only about 12 weeks old, and I'm a delightful mix of Border Collie smarts and Cattle Dog energy – probably! That's what the grown-ups think anyway, I just know I'm cute as a button! I'm mostly black and white, with the most adorable little white spotty stockings on my legs.
And guess what? I'm super smart! I can sit, wait (mostly) for my dinner, use the doggy door like a pro, and I can even tackle those big scary stairs. I’m a quick learner and love my puzzle toys.
Now, I do have to confess, I'm still teething. So, ankles, toes, and pyjama bottoms are on the menu. (Sorry in advance – but just think of it as a little puppy love nibble) Little kids might not appreciate that so I'm thinking bigger kids may be best.
Here's the deal:
• I'm vaccinated, microchipped, and flea/tick/ worm-free.
• I sleep like a log in my crate all night.
• I love car rides (especially if there's adventure involved).
• I'm a curious explorer and love to sniff everything – my nose knows all!
• I can be left alone for short periods without causing any trouble. (But full days are a bit much for a little lady like me right now, okay?)
• I listen (usually!), and I'm incredibly pretty (obviously!).
• I travel well in the car and am good for puppy (nanna) naps.
• I do like to chase the crows away sometimes... They look suspicious!
• Oh, sometimes I bark at my reflection. I'm still trying to figure out who that adorable puppy is!
So, why should you pick me? Because I am funny, and I am always ready for a good time. Imagine all the fun we could have together.
If you're ready to open your heart and home to a small puppy with a big personality, please sent Village Tails a message telling them everything about yourselves.
Don't be shy, feel free to draw them a picture, write them a poem, send them a video of you doing a dance (they love all that stuff they do) -or just write them a letter, whatever it takes really!
They will be choosing the family that’s the absolute best fit for me, and who knows, maybe that's you!
So, what are you waiting for? I'm ready for my forever home and all the love you have to offer.
With lots of tail wags and puppy kisses,
Lucy (Future queen of your heart)
P.S. My adoption fee is $625, which includes my desexing at a partner vet when I'm 6 months old
