Every Greyhound has a Story… and Jackie’s next chapter starts with you!

This 5.5-year-old retired racer, who raced as Chicks Love Me, is ready to find his forever home.

Jackie is an early riser who starts his day with a 6 AM walk. But will adjust to your routine.

He’s still working on his muzzle exemption with small dogs and is not cat tolerant, so he needs a patient adopter willing to continue his training and guidance.
Jackie currently does not have muzzle exemption but that should not prevent him from finding his perfect forever home. Hes still a beautiful sweet companion who deserves his own sofa.

This doesnt mean he cant be around or walk with small dogs, this just means you need to monitor him when he is with them and ensure he has his muzzle on. This ensures that he continues learning but keeps the small dog tail fluff intact . He just likes the fluffy tails a bit too much!
Btg will continue to guide and assist his new owners in his training and when the time is right, he can return to try for his muzzle exemption again.

Jackie loves the beach.
He’s a pro at cafe and brewery outings, where he’ll happily lounge, soak up attention, and mingle with other dogs and friendly humans.

At home, he’s a big softie. He adores people and will always have a paw or his head resting on you. Ideally, he’d love a human who’s home most of the day or includes him in their adventures.

Other Jackie facts:
✔️ Loves squeaky toys—zoomies before bed are a must!
✔️ Almost fully house-trained but has the occasional accident.
✔️ Great in the car (though sometimes needs a little encouragement to hop in).
✔️ Walks well on a lead but still learning to stop cutting in front of his human.
✔️ Has pretty solid recall and usually comes when called.
✔️ can be on his own during the day with inside/outside access. Or, be left on his own for 4-5 hrs inside or with another medium to large dog friend.
