Humphreys story begins with a loving family who cared for him. When his people couldnt find somewhere to live, he went to his peoples mum. Doing the best she could, health issues started to take over. Humphreys behaviour also made it difficult for her to care for him anymore. We were contacted and agreed to take him on. Humphrey wasnt happy and after some weeks, we investigated the meds he was on and found his behaviours were adverse effects of the meds. So we stopped them and monitored to ensure he would be ok. His attitude calmed down and a few months later it was then indicated to us his people may contact us to reunite with him. We waited and waited and heard nothing so Humphrey is now seeking his new home.
Hes a big boy~ Hes a sweet boy, but he will need a home where cats and their behaviours are understood. Humphrey loves the quiet. He would simply thrive where there is a catio or enclosure for him to view the world going by and soak up the sun. He is still young enough to want to play but that can get a bit rough. Young children are not suitable in his new home. Humphrey bullies other cats so is best solo but could possibly adjust to dogs. We have tried to keep him stress free. Humphrey has been with us now for 2y Its time for his home

Adoption Process
Once you have decided you would like to meet or apply for one of our pets, we email out our Adoption Application. We ask that the Adoption Process be read and if comfortable with how we adopt, complete the application and email it back for processing. This takes approximately 5-7 days. If approved the pet will come for a 6 week trial for cats and 3 week trial for dogs . We believe it takes that long for a pet to settle. If all goes well during the trial and you wish to finalise the adoption we email all vet certificates and change of microchip forms. We believe in matching the right pet with the right home so your application does not guarantee an approval.
