I'm Emerald, I've had a really rough start to my life. I was lucky enough to be rescued and taken in by my Foster Mum. To start to make me feel safe, I lived in a caboodle surrounded by other residents and foster cats. This really helped me feel safe and comfortable. I've now got full run of the cat enclosure and this has made me a lot happier to be around the other cats.

I am very shy and still learning to trust humans. I've stopped hissing and running away as much. My Foster Mum talks to me, she gives me plenty of space, as I still am not keen to have humans too close. I really like my cat friends though!

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I would benefit from another one or two friendly resident cat friends, this would really help me learn the house routine and one day trust my new human family.

Likes / Dislikes
I am really scared of fast movement and loud noises, as this is my first time living in a home environment so everything is a new experience for me.

I do love other nice cats. I really appreciate my food and somewhere up high to sleep that's comfortable and safe.

My PURR-fect home would be a quiet, mature home environment with owners who will give me a lot of patience, time and space to build trust. I am an indoor only cat, but I do love my current outdoor enclosures, they make me feel safe.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
