About Rosa
Hello there! My name is Rosa, and though I may be small, I’ve got plenty of personality packed into this little body of mine.
I love to play and soak up the sunshine on warm, beautiful days—there’s nothing quite like basking in the outdoors!
But don’t be fooled by my energy. When I’m tired, I know how to enjoy a good nap, and I’m always up for snuggling in close for some cozy cuddle time with my humans.
I’m all about those belly rubs—seriously, they’re my favorite thing! I can’t resist rolling over for a good scratch, and I’ll let you know how much I appreciate it with a wagging tail.
One thing to know about me, though—I really love my food, so I prefer to enjoy it in peace, away from other dogs. I can be a little possessive when it comes to my meals, but it’s just because I’m so passionate about eating!
I’m ready to find my forever home where I can share my cheeky personality, enjoy some sunshine, and snuggle up with the best humans. Could that be with you? I can’t wait to meet you!

* Please note, this is not a contract or agreement of any kind, only expression of interest in our dog. We will not conduct any meet and greets unless this form has been filled out and submitted for review. Only approved applicants will get to meet our dogs. *
Once approved you will be contacted by a team member and can organise a time best suited to meet with the carer and dog. If you have other dogs they must also be at the meeting, including any children in the immediate family.
Before applying please consider the following:
• real estate approval if renting
• any fencing repairs that may need to be done
• outside shelter
• breed knowledge
• do you have enough time for the breed of dog you are applying for?
If you and the dog get along, you have to option of taking the dog on the spot (at this time you will need to pay the full adoption price and sign the adoption agreement) You will then get a 2-week trial with the dog, during this time should things not work out you are to return the dog to Dusty Paws Dog Rescue. You will then receive a full refund; less $50 admin fee within 7 business days of the return of the dog.

Please also keep in mind that we are a volunteer run rescue which means we don’t have someone manning the phone 24/7, we all work full time jobs and get back to your calls and messages as soon as we can. We thank you for your time and patients with us.
