About Scruffy
Scruffy is ready to find his new place to call home, can he call your home his too?
This little man loves to play with toys and will play by him self for hours.
Scruffy enjoys going for walks, having snuggles on the couch and will be your little shadow if you let him.
A home without children would be ideal for Scruffy, while he can be ok around well-behaved kids he will give a little snap at rude kids.
Scruffy has a big personality and with that prefers being around bigger dogs. Although an only only dog home would also work well
He will benefit from further training, he’s a smart boy and can show you just how smart he is at training.
Scruffy is used to sleeping in a crate and is getting better with toilet training.
If you have a child free home and are looking for a little fella to join your home, Scruffy might be the fella for you.

If you are interested in finding out more about the dogs we have in care, please go to our website at http://www.dustypawsdogrescue.com/adopt and fill in an adoption form.
* Please note, this is not a contract or agreement of any kind, only expression of interest in our dog. We will not conduct any meet and greets unless this form has been filled out and submitted for review. Only approved applicants will get to meet our dogs. *
Once approved you will be contacted by a team member and can organise a time best suited to meet with the carer and dog. If you have other dogs they must also be at the meeting, including any children in the immediate family.
Before applying please consider the following:
• real estate approval if renting
• any fencing repairs that may need to be done
• outside shelter
• breed knowledge
• do you have enough time for the breed of dog you are applying for?
If you and the dog get along, you have to option of taking the dog on the spot (at this time you will need to pay the full adoption price and sign the adoption agreement) You will then get a 2-week trial with the dog, during this time should things not work out you are to return the dog to Dusty Paws Dog Rescue. You will then receive a full refund; less $50 admin fee within 7 business days of the return of the dog.

Please also keep in mind that we are a volunteer run rescue which means we don’t have someone manning the phone 24/7, we all work full time jobs and get back to your calls and messages as soon as we can. We thank you for your time and patients with us.
