About Goldie
Gorgeous Goldie underwent spinal surgery in September 2024. She is currently unable to use her hind legs but is receiving treatment and we have been advised that there is a very good chance of recovery for her.
Goldie is looking for a long-term foster home.
She has a wonderful temperament and is an overall happy and sweet little girl. She likes to play, is bright and eager to learn, is dog friendly and just loves humans.
We are hoping to find a dedicated, and experienced family to care for and support Goldie through her rehabilitation and recovery. This will require commitment and time, so to ensure that Goldie has the best chance of succeeding in her recovery and in a new home we ask that potential applicants are able to provide the following:
- A safe, loving, supportive and secure environment
- A home where someone is home most of the time so that she is supported and supervised
- The ability to take her to all necessary vet and rehabilitation appointments (In the Camden NSW area)
- The ability to ensure that all recommended treatment and rehabilitation, including exercises is attended to
- A home where she will feel comfortable to move around, and she has access to areas in the home, and a yard that does not have stairs (she may require the use of wheels)
- A quiet environment where she can rest, recover and learn how to use her back legs again
- An environment where she is a part of the family, included, and given regular (prescribed) exercise, and mental stimulation and
- A home with no other pets so that she can focus on her recovery and not be distracted or cause further damage to herself
If you are interested in giving Goldie the loving foster home she deserves, and feel that you could give her the time, commitment and care she needs, please complete an application 🐾
