About Poppy
Meet darling Poppy 🌺
Poppy came to us as a stray; emaciated, furless & with untreated eye, ear & nasal infections.
After the best of veterinary care, she is now healthy, sporting some curves & a luscious shiny white coat 😍
Whilst we know little of her background, due to her shyness around other dogs, it would appear that she had little exposure to the outside world. She’s not aggressive or even reactive…just shy.
However, when it comes to people, she wants to meet everyone! Everyone!! Big people, little people, just people! People are her jam 😉.
Poppy is:
💗 sweet & affectionate
😻 cat friendly
🐾 happy with a 30 min sniffy stroll each day
🛏️ crate trained
🏡 95% toilet trained
🫶🏼 not anxious when left alone
🚶🏼♀️ easy to walk on leash
😃 still learning not to jump up when excited, but improving 😉
If you are a people person and would like a people person dog & are prepared to do some fine-tuning, Poppy just might be your girl! 💗🐾
Medical notes
Poppy has skin issue's that we are currently treating, just like alot of Bull Terrier's. For more information, our team will discuss on application.
Adoption details
VBTR places all dogs in a foster care agreement, before moving forward on adoptions. All foster applications received will be assessed and those that meet the needs of the dog will have house & suitability checks. From there, approved applicants will have the opportunity to foster with a view to adopt. Most go onto be ‘foster fails’ and adopt these beautiful bullies. VBTR work tirelessly to ensure successful foster to adopt placements for the benefit of both dogs and humans alike! Bully Buddies are assigned to every dog support this process.
