About Fiona
Say hello to Fiona, a petite, sweet-natured and confident Kelpie mix puppy from the F Litter.
Born on October 1, 2023, she weighed 6.8 kgs on 19 February, so is unlikely to be more than 10-11 kgs at maturity.
She has a petite frame, tiny paws, and a slightly longer muzzle, suggesting a dollop of Dachshund heritage. Regardless of her lineage, what truly stands out about Fiona is her loving personality and zest for life.
Described affectionately by her foster mum as "mighty mouse," Fiona is the smallest but most confident pup in the litter.
Her outgoing, social nature shines as she whips her larger siblings into shape with a playful yet assertive manner.
She adores pets and cuddles and is eager to interact with her human foster family.
Fiona’s sharp mind makes her highly trainable, and she’s already learned to sit, showing her eagerness to please her humans.
She would make an ideal companion for someone seeking an affectionate, alert pet who’s in tune with the environment around her.
Fiona is ready to settle into a new family, particularly one where she won't be left alone for long stretches.
She's great with children, respectful of other pets, and even leaves the chickens alone—a testament to her well-rounded disposition.
Fiona sleeps soundly all night in her crate and is house-trained. She will flourish as an integral part of an active family home where she can play, explore, and be her happiest self.
If you're eager to make this charming girl a part of your life, make sure you have secure fencing and consider having someone home most of the time, or a compatible canine friend for Fiona.
