About Deja
Meet Deja, a spirited and energetic frenchbulldog approaching her third birthday this November. With her stunning lilac fawn coat and boundless zest for life, Deja brings a unique charm to any setting. Her timid demeanour can be interpreted as stand offish but Deja loves to cuddle when she lets you in. Deja stays fit and lean, but she needs a home that is calm and loving.
While Deja seems to get along well with other French bulldogs, she has been known to assert herself during mealtime. She doesn’t appear to really like other breeds. This confident streak shows that she knows what she wants out of life, especially at dinnertime! She loves staying cool and having fun in the water, reveling in splashes to beat the heat and burn off a little more of that endless energy.
Deja can be nervous around new people, it will take her a week or two to settle in. Just like all of us she has some fears. She would like a quiet home
Deja would thrive in a home that values a calm lifestyle and can provide her with regular exercise and companionship. Her spirited nature, intelligence, and affectionate personality will make her a wonderful addition to the right family. If you're looking for a loving companion who will bring energy and joy to every day, then Deja might just be the perfect match for you.
Deja is learning toilet training in leaps and bounds but is happy using puppy pee pads whilst learning.
Medical notes
She is a brachycephalic breed. All suffer from BOAS in some way, either minor or severe. They are always at risk of boas ( brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome)becoming clinical- creating difficulty breathing. We expect you to have a complete understanding of the condition and discuss the potential surgical, environmental and medical modifications you may have to do for this condition with your vet before you apply for this dog. It is also a excellent idea to take advantage of the trial period to have your vet check over the dog and give you more pointers on this breed related issue and the expectations for their care and management.
