About Miss Louise
🐾 Meet Louise – A Gentle Soul Looking for a Safe Haven 🐾
Louise is a quiet and affectionate 9-year-old lady who has had a rough start but is slowly learning to trust again. She was found seemingly abandoned relying on the kindness of people for food. Though she longed for companionship, she was too scared to let anyone get too close. Now, in foster care, she’s discovering that people can be safe and loving.
🏡 Louise’s Ideal Home
Louise adores the teenager in her foster home and coexists peacefully with other cats. While she doesn’t interact with the resident dogs, we believe a gentle, cat-savvy dog who respects her space could be a good match. Given her calm nature, she would be best suited to a quiet home with like-minded elderly pets who are enjoying a peaceful ‘retirement’.
💕 Why Louise Deserves a Loving Home
❤️ Timid but affectionate – She’s still learning to trust, so she needs a patient home that will let her build confidence at her own pace.
💤 More about naps than play – She’s not very interested in toys but loves a cosy spot to rest. A calm, older cat or dog would make an ideal companion.
🍗 Food is the way to her heart – Treats and meals have been key in gaining her trust, and she enjoys her nightly snack routine.
🤗 Seeks comfort in her own way – When cuddled, she instinctively buries her face, as if trying to hide and feel secure.
🌸 A true sweetheart – Despite everything she’s been through, Louise has never shown aggression—not even when she needed a bath upon rescue (though bathing isn’t recommended unless absolutely necessary!).
🏡 Best suited to a peaceful home – Louise is too gentle to stand up for herself, so a calm household without young children who may not understand her boundaries would ensure she always feels safe.
🐾 The Essentials
🍽 Food: Royal Canin Indoor dry food + a serve of wet food at night
🍖 Treats: Temptations & Greenies (her special nightly routine when the dogs go to bed!)
🛁 Litter: Michu Wonder Litter (an absolute game-changer!)
🦠 Flea, tick & worm treatment: Last done on 28/01/2025 (Foster Mum uses Revolution for cats)
💉 Next vaccination due: 15/01/2026
🐾 A Note on Her Weight
Since being in foster care, Louise has gained a little weight—this is common for stray or abandoned cats who have lived with food insecurity. Her new family will just need to monitor her portions to help her maintain a healthy balance.
🏡 If you have a soft spot for a gentle soul, Louise could be the perfect companion for you. ❤️ Reach out today to meet this special girl—whoever adopts her will be incredibly lucky! 🐾✨

Adoption details
At Suburban Fuzzy Farm Rescue, we are dedicated to finding the perfect forever homes for our rescued cats and kittens. Our adoption process is designed to ensure each feline is placed in a loving, responsible home that meets their individual needs.
Each adoption profile outlines the type of home we believe would be the best fit for the adoptee, as well as any non-negotiables that wouldn’t be suitable for them. Our goal is not only to find the best homes for our fosters but also to ensure a great match for potential adopters.
Please note that our adoption fees don’t even begin to cover the full cost of care, but we strive to keep them as reasonable as possible. 🙂
We’re also here to support you long after adoption! If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we love updates on our former rescues!
