About Juniper
Meet Juniper, a remarkable and resilient dog with an inspiring journey. Rescued from a situation of neglect, Juniper embodies the spirit of hope and recovery. Despite a challenging start, this gentle soul has made a full recovery from parvo and an injury to her leg, showcasing her tenacity and will to thrive.
Initially timid with new people, Juniper's playful and affectionate side emerges once she feels safe and secure. It takes her some time to warm up, avoiding hands and barking when meeting strangers, but once her trust is earned, she blossoms into a delightful and loving companion. Under the nurturing care of her foster family, Juniper is gradually gaining confidence and learning to embrace new experiences.
She has great listening skills and her recall around the house and yard is fantastic. She is a fast learner and will benefit from ongoing training.
Juniper would thrive in a home with patient and gentle individuals who understand the importance of earning her trust with their time and kindness. She would benefit greatly from living with an older dog who could serve as a calming influence, guiding her and providing companionship. Juniper has been diligently mimicking her foster brother's actions, and having a canine role model would be invaluable in her continued journey of growth.
A foster-to-adopt arrangement would be ideal, allowing Juniper the time to adjust and build connections with her new family. With the right support and environment, there's no doubt that Juniper will continue to flourish and become an irreplaceable member of your household. If you are ready to open your heart to this sweet, loyal pup, Juniper is eager to find a loving home where she can continue her incredible journey of transformation and joy.
Medical notes
Juniper has survived parvovirus. She also had an injury to her rear leg- wire wrapped around it and cut in. Some scarring on her leg remains but she has made a full recovery.
