Allow me to introduce Nala, a delightful 5-year-old Shih Tzu cross with an abundance of charm and a loving heart. Nala comes fully equipped with her vaccinations, and she's microchipped, desexed, and wormed, ready to bring joy and companionship into her new home. At just 6 kilograms, she is a petite bundle of happiness, making her the perfect size for all your adventures.
Nala is genuinely a family-friendly pup who thrives in the company of children and other dogs. Her playful and gentle nature allows her to connect with every member of the family. To ensure her safety as she frolics and plays, a secure fence is required. While her compatibility with cats is untested, her amicable demeanor hints at a potential to charm them as well. Nala is a typical example of her breed and will bark at strangers or passer-by. So a high traffic are is not for her.
Residing in Brisbane, Nala is searching for a loving home ready to welcome her affectionate personality. For a modest adoption fee of $695, you'll be introducing a loyal companion into your life, one who will greet each day with joy. Ready to make Nala a part of your family? Please apply using the link provided: [Adoption Form](https://www.bestfriendsrescue.com/adoptionform/). Nala can't wait to meet her forever family and shower them with unconditional love and happiness!

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee. This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
The adoption process is as follows
✅Everyone that lives in the home will meet the dog with the carer
✅We ask everyone go home again and discuss and think about overnight and contact us the next day
✅This also gives the carer a chance to think about suitability
✅Then if everyone agrees we then require a home inspection, or at least photos of the home yard and fences.
✅Then the adoption fee is paid and once that clears our account you are free to arrange with the carer to collect
✅The adoption paperwork comes out in 14 days in which time you are required to register and change chip over
