About Lunaris (maggie)
Meet Lunaris, a gorgeous 11-month-old chocolate and tan pointed female Kelpie who is ready to embrace the world with open paws! Lunaris may have had a rough start, spending most of her young life confined to a backyard, but her spirit remains unbreakable. Now, she's looking for a loving forever home where she can finally experience all the adventures life has to offer!
Lunaris is eager to please and always ready to give everything a go. She's great on a lead, loves to learn, and takes on new experiences with a positive attitude, even if there's a little hesitation at first. With a heart full of enthusiasm, she's the type of dog that will give you her all in whatever you do together.
This sweet girl is social with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a pre-existing canine mentor to continue learning and growing. She's got an adorable, soft nature and would love a family with kids aged 10 or older who can join her in all sorts of fun activities like building forts, exploring new places, and cuddling up for those well-deserved bedtime snuggles.
Lunaris has no bad bone in her body and is just waiting for someone to offer her the chance at a happy, fulfilled life. Could you be the one to give this sweet, free-spirited girl the forever home she truly deserves? She can't wait to meet you and share her love!
To book a meet and greet with this gorgeous girl please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, Inquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
