Introducing Barkules, a 3-year-old Staffy with the strength of Hercules, and the charm of a mischievous rascal! This guy might not have a magic shield, but he's got plenty of cheeky energy to go around. If you've got room for a playful pup who's part cuddly hero, part cheeky troublemaker, Barkules is your guy!

Barkules is looking for a family with secondary school-aged kids who can keep up with his adventurous spirit, love a good laugh, and appreciate a dog who's got a bit of a sassy side. Whether he's zooming around the yard like a mini Hercules or sneaking a snack off the counter (oops!), he's always ready for a bit of fun. But don't be fooled-he may be cheeky, but he's also a big softie at heart who just wants to be loved and cared for.

Barkules is also learning to control his super strength and impulsive nature. He's a smart guy, but sometimes his inner hero wants to rush in and save the day-whether it's a squirrel or a new visitor. With the help of force-free training and positive reinforcement, he's starting to develop impulse control and understand that slow and steady wins the race. He's a quick learner when you make it fun, and with a bit of patience, Barkules will become the calm, well-behaved pup of your dreams (most of the time 😜).

Barkules is looking for a single-dog household where he can be the star of the show. With his powerful, loving nature, he's ready to share all his affection with his new family! He is still getting used to other dogs so he will need slow positive introductions to any dogs he comes across.

Barkules needs a family who's willing to take on the role of training sidekick as he builds confidence in new places, around new people, and in exciting new situations. But, as with any superhero origin story, the journey is half the fun! He'll need you to be patient, consistent, and ready for a few shenanigans along the way.
