About Hunter
Hunter is a calm, affectionate, and gentle soul who thrives on companionship. He loves being close to his people, whether resting his chin on your lap or following you around the house. He enjoys chewing on squeaky toys, playing with his foraging toy, and gently licking away on his licky mat.
Well-mannered with new people, Hunter calmly accepts head scratches and loves slow, peaceful walks-he's your perfect walking buddy. He's fully house-trained, easy to medicate, and just wants to be near you, offering endless love and snuggles. Hunter is a true gentleman who will happily curl up by your side.
Hunter enjoys slow, calm walks, so if you're looking for a relaxed walking buddy, he's your guy. He walks well on the leash and enjoys taking his time-his personal theme song might just be Vanessa Carlton's A Thousand Miles!
Home Requirements for Hunter:
-Someone Home Most of the Time: Hunter is working through separation anxiety, so he's looking for a home where someone is home often. He'll need a patient owner who can slowly help him feel comfortable being left alone for short periods. He is currently on medication to help with this, and will need to continue this in his forever home.
- No Other Animals: Hunter would thrive best in a home where he's the only pet. He loves his human family and prefers to have your undivided attention.
- Plenty of Love & Affection: Hunter is incredibly affectionate and will want to be close to you. He will happily follow you around the house, join you on the couch, and even sleep in your bed. He's a true companion who just wants to be by your side.
Hunter is looking for a family that will give him the time, love, and security he needs to feel at ease. If you're ready to welcome this sweet, affectionate boy into your home, Hunter will reward you with endless love and loyalty.
