About Spud, the greyhound
If you are interested in Spud, or any of our Greyhounds, we require you to fill in our application form - https://forms.gle/kpSn4PdsS2Uc7gDt6
Meet Spud, the greyhound with a heart as big as his playful personality. This delightful dog is bursting at the seams with affection and silliness, ensuring there's never a dull moment when he's around. Spud is adaptable to any living situation—be it an apartment or a house—as long as he has a collection of toys to keep him entertained and receives plenty of exercise to channel his energy.
Spud’s excited nature and zest for life makes him a great match for households with older kids who can keep up with his playful antics. Despite his large stature, he's blissfully unaware of his own size and might unexpectedly barrel through during playtime, so young children and small-sized dogs might find him a bit overwhelming. His curious and exuberant personality means he’s always ready for adventure, whether you live in a bustling city or a quiet suburb, as he's unfazed by city sounds or bustling traffic.
Spud would happily thrives as a solo, so he can soak up all the love from his humans. A people-oriented pooch, Spud does have some experience being home alone and can gradually adapt to spending time on his own. On walks, Spud is initially excited but quickly settles into a smooth, well-mannered gait. Though indifferent to other dogs he encounters, he's always ready and willing to make new friends, albeit with his typical enthusiasm.
Spud’s big and silly personality shines brightest during playtime with his toys or when he's enjoying a hearty run. His fondness for food makes him highly trainable, and with a bit of guidance, he’s bound to excel in mastering polite play and curtailing his jumping habit. Ideal for a young person or couple, Spud would love someone who can match his active lifestyle with weekend adventures and long, enjoyable walks.
If you're seeking a joyful, confident, and funny companion who's ready to fill your days with love and laughter, Spud might just be the perfect match for you.
At Homeward Bound Hounds, we pride ourselves on matching the right dog to the right family. We need to know more about you and your home to find the best possible match.
