About Matilda
Hey there, I'm Matilda, but you can call me Tilly. I'm a 1-year-old teeny, tiny black and tan kelpie girl! Foster Mum calls me her pint sized pocket rocket, I’m fully grown and only 13kgs. Don’t let that fool you for what lack in size I make up for in personality!!!
My foster mum tells me I am gentle, affectionate, and a little bit goofy. But I’m not a lap dog. I’ve got beans to burn and love running and chasing. My most favourite game is chasing the hose, closely followed by fetch. I’m fast and brainy, so I think I might excel in agility training if someone wanted to teach me.
It takes some time to gain my trust but once I get to know you, I will show you all the love I have to give. I am very polite with other dogs and have great manners. I’m still getting used to traveling (it can be a tiny bit nerve-racking). At night, I sleep soundly in my crate and am the quietest and best-behaved girl you could ask for.
I can be nervous about new situations and new people, and I need a family that will be committed to boosting my confidence and making me feel safe and secure so I can shine. I would love an older, confident, respectful sibling to show me the way.
My new people need to be knowledgeable about working breeds, dedicated to continuing my training and keeping my brain and body active, and willing to give me as much love as I give them, as well as boundaries and gentle but firm guidance.
If you think I’d be a match, please apply and tell us about the beautiful life you can offer me.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
