About Pablo
Are you looking for a little cyclone that comes into your life - one minute snuggling then turning moments into hilarity and others into shaking your head just wondering how I get into that situation?
If the answer is yes – then look no further – Meet me - I’m Pablo and I'm a 2 year and 1 month old Pug!
My foster mum says I am one of the happiest dogs we have ever seen come into care, and I have to admit I just love life, I love people, l love other dogs, I love everyone!
I will melt your heart while I do my crazy antics.
I came into care from a private owner and the rescue made sure that I was all vet worked and had something called the snip – whatever all I know is I went to some place for the day – got some cuddles and then came home with something called a cone that made for some omg moments. My foster mum says the cone and I were a comedy act!
I am currently in foster care with another dog and I love the company and playing with toys and just love the company! I would love a home with another small breed dog that wants to play and hang out with me.
I absolutely would love another dog to live with and play with and snuggle with and you know just be with!
I asked my foster mum how she would describe me............... she said like a whirlwind one minute, and the next a quiet snoozing snuggling baby.
My foster mum says I love to sleep and enjoy on the bed and on the couch – I’m a creature of comfort these days!
I have lived with some children for a bit and I didn't mind them at all - lots of cuddles and attention on me!!!
I do have manners (my foster mum told me) and I will sit before I get my food and treats and know to also sit when it’s time for my lead and harness to go on!
My ideal home will be with someone who is home more often than not or who works from home – I’m still young so I would like to be a part of my families’ lives. I do struggle a bit if I’m left home alone for more than 4 hours a day – so ideally a home where there is someone or I can go with you – I am a awesome buddy to keep you company!
I am toilet trained.
I currently weigh nearly 8kgs.
I have not been tested with cats – apparently we just don’t have them lined up wanting to volunteer - but the rescue has said it could honestly go either way. I could want to be their friend or I could want to chase…………
I am what you would call a outdoor type of guy doing things (playing, walking, zoomies etc) but I don’t want to live outside or be locked outside for hours at a time – access to come and go would be great.
I also love to go for walks but because I’m a black pug I have to be double careful of the heat!
My foster mum says if you meet me you will fall in love with me as I’m the cutest boy she has even seen and just such a happy go lucky boy who is looking for a forever family and in return I will give them lots of love and laughs!
So if you want to open your home up to some laughs, fun, love and some craziness - please apply!

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.

INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
