About Piper
Piper, also lovingly known as Pippy girl, is an energetic, excitable pup with lots of love to give!
She is a goofy gal who is charmingly clumsy, so a house with older children would be best. Piper is initially nervous around new people but is quick to warm up! She's a cuddly girl who loves to have a snuggle and to be smothered in love by her humans.
Piper loves meeting new dogs and is a friendly girl. Her ideal home would have a doggy companion who is confident, can show her how to navigate the world and isn't afraid of play time! She will even reward her companion by doting over them and cleaning and preening them!
Piper's perfect day looks like: a car ride to the bush, park or beach for adventures, a trip to the local café for a puppaccino, then some ball chasing in the backyard before chilling out on her bed (with a treat of course!).
This curious girl loves to be included in adventures and would best suit an active household.

Adoption details
STEP 1 – ENQUIRE & EOI FORM:

If the greyhound you have applied for is unavailable or unsuitable, we can match you with a suitable greyhound. We may have a hound in foster care who might be well suited to your family.
STEP 2 – LET'S CHAT:
We'll phone you to discuss suitability, clarify any points of your application and chat process and next steps.
STEP 3 – HOUSE CHECK & MEET + GREET:
We'll come to you! The meet + greet is conducted at the same time that a house check is carried out. The meet + greet is the day that your newly adopted greyhound will be able to stay on with you.
Our adoption fee is $375.00 and must be paid before the meet + greet, and prior to starting your 3 week trial. Support from our team is freely available. If you have any issues, we urge you to contact us to try and work through them, as all rescue greyhounds have some period of adjustment.
If after the 3 week trial, you feel that you need to return the greyhound, we will refund your adoption fee (less a $50 administration fee), upon return of the dog and all paperwork and other items that the dog was adopted with.
All of our hounds are adopted out with the following:
> Collar, lead & coat
> Certificate of sterilisation & vaccination
> Flea & worm treated
> Care information for your newly adopted greyhound
> Access to our private Facebook page for foster carers, volunteers and adopters of our hounds. A community with invaluable advice and support!
