Yes, it is I - Dimitri - or, as my friends call me, Dimi! You may remember me from a few years ago when I was part of the PRA family and looking for a home. I was lucky enough to get adopted by some beautiful hoomans and I thought that was it. Sadly it was not meant to be and I returned to care a few months ago, due to no fault of my own. It has been a very sad and confusing time for me but thankfully I've found my stride again and I'm ready to meet my new family. Let the good times roll!

Nature
I'm a precious little guy whose heart is as big as his belly (which is pretty big if you didn't know already). I'm a combination of timid, confident, chilled out, playful, loving and cheeky all rolled into one gorgeous floofy package. My Foster Mama wanted to add that her favourite part of me is my jiggly belly and how it sways in the wind when I run. But I told her that was fat-shaming and threatened to report her if she mentioned it, so she said she'd take it out - phew!

I've been through a whole lot over the past few months, and life has thrown me more than my fair share of curveballs, but I'm a tough little trooper and nothing keeps me down for long.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I've been in care a little while now and sadly I have started to show dominant behaviour towards the other felines in the house. I lived with a young kitten up until recently, and have lived with cats throughout my life, and we got on with no issues at all. My pawrents think I am overwhelmed by the high volume of cats here and I'm trying to find my place in the pack.

In a purr-fect world, I would be the only king of my castle, but I could learn to live with a friendly laid-back kitty again, who won't put up with any of my nonsense!

I have lived with dogs before and managed to co-exist with them quite happily. They would need to be gentle, calm and cat friendly. And, of course, all introductions should be slow and controlled so everyone can adjust.

I've not met kids before but my pawrents think I would do better with the older kind who will be gentle and respectful of my boundaries.

Likes / Dislikes
My favourite thing in the universe is looking out of windows. Yep, you read that right! My Foster Mama puts a blanket on my chair and I hop up, settle in and watch the world go by... and I'm happy for the rest of the day!

Another favourite of mine is talking. I could chat all day, every day, if eating, sleeping and looking out of windows didn't get in the way! Other things I enjoy include gentle head pats and chin tickles, exploring, pretending to hunt, bum pats and playing! My favourite game is chasing after the wand toy. It gives me endless hours of entertainment.

Whilst I am growing in confidence every day, I can still be timid around new people and in new environments. Thankfully it doesn't take me long to put on my big brave boy boots and start exploring the land.

My PURR-fect home would be with hoomans with hearts as big as mine, who have endless amounts of love and patience for a sweet little man like myself. My main hope is to finally find my fur-ever home, with people who I can call my family. A family who will love me for the rest of my life and will make sure I never end up lonely again.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

Dimitri’s adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination*, microchip, flea and worm treatment.

*Vaccinations are subject to availability due to a worldwide vaccine shortage. Our adoption team will notify you if the cat/kitten you apply to adopt has NOT been vaccinated.

Medical Notes: Dimitri is FIV and FelV negative.

Dimitri is currently being treated for a UTI. He has a history of toileting inappropriately when there are too many cats, so will require a low stress, low cat number home.
