About Baxter
Are you looking for a best friend – someone that is happy to be with you no matter what your doing?
Are you looking for a loyal, loving and goofy companion?
If the answer is yes – then look no further – Meet me - I’m Baxter and I am a 4 year and 1 month old French Bulldog!
My foster mum says I am a goofy, affectionate boy who will keep you entertained with my silly antics and heart melting cuddles.
I love to play with toys and do have a favorite! I also love to nap in the sun!
My foster mum says I thrive on human attention and will happily follow you around always ready for a belly rub or a snuggle session!
My ideal home will be where I can thrive with a family who loves to hang out with me or take me places (heat permitting!)
I currently live with another Frenchie girl and she’s pretty cool – we do play with toys together and then others happily without each other.
I would love another dog as a play friend as I love tug of war and playing with others, or if I am an only dog definitely need family to give me lots of attention!
If I was to go to a home with another dog - I would need another dog who understands that as a Frenchie I have no comprehension of personal space with humans or other dogs – and I will want to be their friend very quickly!
If I was an only dog I would need lots of walk, and playtime with my humans, and sleeping on the bed / next to you on the couch would be a huge must!
I am not tested with cats and my foster mum said it could go either way – I could chase them if they ran or I could simply try and squish them by making them my friend.
I love been around children and let face it what is not to love about them – they give you cuddles and attention and let you hang out with them – I can live with that!
My ideal home will be with someone who is home more often than not or who works from home, shift worker etc – I’m still young so I would like to be a part of my families’ lives.
My foster mum says I have this thing called FOMO (Fear of Missing out) so if your ever doing something don't stress I will be there right there with you , and i mean right there with you! I will be your shadow!
I am toilet trained
The rescue did all my vet work and I was desexed as well as had dental done - i got 5 extractions in total and a dental scale and clean so even more reason to smile smile smile!
I have a shiny black coat so air conditioning and access to inside is a must (oh yeah and of course my squishy nose breed means air conditioning, air conditioning, air conditioning!
