About Bagel
Introducing Bagel!
Bagel is a Beagle born 8th January 2020.
Bagel was brought into the facility as a stray & his owner surrendered him to us for rehoming.
Since being at the facility Bagel has been a very sweet boy, but as a typical Beagle he does follow his nose & he will try to eat everything he can.. even if it's not edible.
Bagel tested quite well with other friendly dogs. We believe Bagel would be suitable to live with another dog, or be a spoilt "only child". If you have a friendly dog at home we will need to do a meet & greet with them to ensure they get along before going home.
Bagel was unfazed when meeting the cats at the facility. We feel that he could be suitable to live with cats, if given a slow & controlled introduction to them.
Bagel seems unfazed by pocket pets.
He still has so much to learn about the world and would love to be in a home where he is included as a member of the family. BBagel will thrive in an environment that guides him with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
Bagel has shown no signs of separation anxiety since being at the facility.
Bagel has shown no food aggression since being at the facility.
Bagel's adoption fee is $550 and includes his desexing & lifetime registration. Bagel is also regularly treated for flea and worms and is up to date with his vaccinations.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
