About Pigeon
P, for Pigeon. It’s a Pigeon party!
This one-of-a-kind, somewhat older lady is looking for the purrrfect family to bless with her presence. Pigeon is a beautiful soul with a heart of gold, and she is looking for a loving home to spend the rest of her life. She has so much affection to give and would be the most beautiful companion to anyone looking to be loved unconditionally.
Pigeon has had a rough few months, but she hasn’t let that get her down! Pigeon’s previous owner passed away, and the next of kin made the unkind decision to leave her behind at the house. For weeks, Pigeon was out on the streets, living off scraps and trying to survive the relentless Melbourne heat. When she came into care, she was severely underweight, filthy, and dehydrated. Despite humans getting her into this awful position, Pigeon didn’t seem to hold that against us; from day one she was lovely and smoochy, purring and rubbing up against her enclosure to show us that she really wanted to be friends.
After a month of TLC, Pigeon is all ready to find her forever home. Her best days are spent sleeping in the sun, curling up in her comfy bed and cheerfully eating her meals. She hasn’t shown an awful lot of interest in playing with toys; her favourite activity is hanging out with people. She would love nothing more than a nice calm home to fit into, with someone to offer her lots of pats and kind words. She’ll make an excellent couch companion and would probably love sleeping in bed if given the opportunity to do so.
Unfortunately, Pigeon does not get along well with other cats and she would prefer to be the only feline, feeling fine. We suspect she has had negative interactions with other cats while being out on the streets and would love for her to not have to worry about that ever again.
If you have space in your heart, and on your couch, for a beautiful little lady, please apply and come meet Pigeon at her foster home in Clyde. You wont regret it, but you’ll regret missing out.
