About Jellybean
Meet Jellybean, a 1-year-old cattle dog x kelpie with a happy and loving personality. This smoochy girl adores her humans and is so affectionate – she loves pats, cuddles, belly rubs, whatever is on offer, but she's never demanding of attention.
Jellybean's favourite activities are swimming, going on adventures, and chasing her foster brother when he fetches the ball. He outsources all the swimming to her, and her job is to retrieve the ball from the water and bring it to shore for him to return to the human!
And, once it’s time to settle, Jellybean has a brilliant off-switch, and happily snoozes through the day while her foster carer works from home.
This clever girl is toilet and crate trained, has great indoor manners and sleeps soundly overnight. She travels really well in the car, spending the entire trip with her head out of the window to get all the sniffs.
Jellybean is super playful with other playful dogs once she knows them, and is very respectful of quieter dogs. But she does need a minute and some support when first meeting other dogs. She can go to a home with another playful dog, or as a single dog, provided she gets to spend plenty of time with her humans.
Jellybean is looking for active humans who will give her plenty of mental and physical stimulation, allow her inside as part of the family, and include her in their daily lives.
Having lived a quiet farm life previously, Jellybean is not suited to busy city living, but she has adjusted really well to suburbia.
Due to her very strong prey drive, she is not suited to living with other animals
Jellybean is located in ACT.
