About Marlie
Marlie is the perfect mid sized (20kg) brindle beauty and certified cuddle machine who’s on the hunt for her forever family! Whether she’s sitting like a human to watch TV 📺, trotting around Bunnings like she owns the place 🏗️, or soaking up all the love and attention she can get, Marlie is happiest when she’s with her people.
While she’s content to snooze at home alone for short periods, like most staffies she's happiest when she has people around to dote on her. She has been living with her foster carer in an apartment, and has proven to be a very content chunky apartment pig!
Marlie can be unsure around other dogs, but she has met a few she liked. She’d do best as the only pooch in the home, with a family willing to do slow and gentle introductions if required.
She truly is the sweetest girl, who is adored by her foster family and everyone that meets her. We have no idea how such a lovely girl ended in the pound - but we know that her forever family will be so lucky.
🐾 Marlie’s Perfect Home:
✅ A mostly indoor life with humans who are home often
✅ A dog-free home (though she might be okay with the right introductions)
✅ Older kids welcome! (She’s gentle but can be boisterous in play)
❌ Not tested with cats
Marlie is desexed, vaccinated, flea and worm treated – all dressed up and ready for love! ❤️
She’s currently being fostered in Northcote —so if you’re ready to meet this brindle babe, get in touch today! 🐶✨
Medical notes
Marlie is a healthy girl who is on 20mg of lovan daily to help with anxiety. It's proven to work really well and can be assessed once she's in a stable forever home.

Adoption details
When someone contacts us to apply for an animal we will send an application form to be completed. When we receive a completed application form we will share this with the foster carer to approve the applicant.
We will then organise a meet & greet with the applicant and the foster carer to meet the animal, learn about their routine, behaviours and what they eat, drink, etc.
After the meet & greet the applicant is contacted to see if they want to proceed with the application and the foster carer approves the applicant.
We will then complete paperwork, payment, and organise a time to have the animal picked up.
Animals are then adopted on a 2 week trial, during which we stay in touch and provide support for the new adopter.
Once adopted we will send through vet records & paperwork and transfer their microchip.
We offer communication and support throughout the fostering & adoption process.
