Are you up for a love challenge? Do you have plenty of patience to woo a big, beautiful, tabby girl? Well Cassie might just be the one!

Nature
Cassie was undomesticated and fending for herself with her bubs in the bush when she was rescued. Her babies all found their homes but Cassie is still looking for true love. Even though she's too sensitive for pats or touches yet, she's come a long way.

Cassie now eats food while you're still in the room and you can catch sneak peaks of her playing with toys when she thinks no one's watching. Although she still talks with hisses not kisses, it's just a habit she hasn't got out of yet and most mornings she will sniff your hand if offered slowly.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Cassie shares a room with another cat and likes cat company. Other resident cats pop in to share their love during the day with no problems and while there is a cat friendly doggo in the home, Cassie prefers her own kind.

A quiet adult home where she can have her own space with a friendly cat would suit Cassie best in her search for love.

Likes / Dislikes
Cassie likes her own quiet space where she feels secure, her favourite places being cat caves and hidey holes. She originally only ate biscuits but gradually realised wet food is yummy and will occasionally take roast chicken from your hand if she desires. If not, she'll still eat it from her bowl.

Sometimes Cassie will come out of her room, usually only at night and just a few metres from her door in case she needs to go back to her safety zone.

My PURR-fect home would be with a single person or couple that understands I need time to learn love and trust, everything must be on my terms. Another cat for company would also be beneficial so I can see that people will love me. I’ve been on a long journey with very little to do with humans and just want to feel safe. Are you my plus one?

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
