About Busta
Say hello to Busta, a small pup with a whole lot of charm and a bit of Busta Rhymes flair!
This little guy is good with everyone—he’s got the people skills and the doggy finesse, getting along with both big and small dogs. He hasn’t been tested with cats, but with some training and supervision, we think he could rap his way into a peaceful truce!
Busta loves to play chasey and tug-of-war, and when he’s not running the show, he’s all about the smooches and cuddles. He’s also very good at taking some well-earned rest when needed—whether it’s curling up for a nap or just having some down-time to recharge.
A little boisterous at times, Busta’s learning basic commands and starting to nail his toilet
training (progress!). He sleeps like a champ all night long, but be sure to keep some chew
toys handy for his teething phase—those teeth are on a mission!
Busta will need patience and love to help him grow into the well-mannered gentleman and
loyal companion he’s destined to be. With the right guidance, he’ll become your perfect
partner in crime (and cuddles!).

* Please note, this is not a contract or agreement of any kind, only expression of interest in our dog. We will not conduct any meet and greets unless this form has been filled out and submitted for review. Only approved applicants will get to meet our dogs. *
Once approved you will be contacted by a team member and can organise a time best suited to meet with the carer and dog. If you have other dogs they must also be at the meeting, including any children in the immediate family.
Before applying please consider the following:
• real estate approval if renting
• any fencing repairs that may need to be done
• outside shelter
• breed knowledge
• do you have enough time for the breed of dog you are applying for?
If you and the dog get along, you have to option of taking the dog on the spot (at this time you will need to pay the full adoption price and sign the adoption agreement) You will then get a 2-week trial with the dog, during this time should things not work out you are to return the dog to Dusty Paws Dog Rescue. You will then receive a full refund; less $50 admin fee within 7 business days of the return of the dog.
