About Kendrik
Kendrik is an affectionate and playful pup who’s good with everyone—people, dogs (big or small), and pretty much anything that’s ready for a good time!
He’s still figuring out his feelings about cats, but with a little guidance and supervision, we’re sure he’ll be just fine.
This guy loves his chasey and tug-of-war sessions, but don’t be surprised if he occasionally needs a cuddle break.
Kendrik also appreciates his quiet time to recharge, and he's more than happy to entertain himself with a good chew toy or a solo game.
Although he’s a boisterous little fella when he’s in play mode, he’s also learning to be a proper gentleman, picking up some basic commands along the way.
He’s started toilet training, so he’s well on his way to being house-proud! At night, Kendrik sleeps soundly all night long, making him the perfect companion for a peaceful evening after all those zoomies and playtime.
Just don’t forget to keep those chew toys handy as he’s still in the teething phase!
Adopting Kendrik is like having your own personal Kendrick Lamar—a mix of swagger, energy, and a whole lot of personality, with just the right amount of chill for those cuddle sessions!
Kendrik is looking for a loving home where he can snuggle, play, and have his quiet moments. If you’re up for a bit of boisterous fun with a side of cuddles and independent play, Kendrik is the perfect match!

* Please note, this is not a contract or agreement of any kind, only expression of interest in our dog. We will not conduct any meet and greets unless this form has been filled out and submitted for review. Only approved applicants will get to meet our dogs. *
Once approved you will be contacted by a team member and can organise a time best suited to meet with the carer and dog. If you have other dogs they must also be at the meeting, including any children in the immediate family.
Before applying please consider the following:
• real estate approval if renting
• any fencing repairs that may need to be done
• outside shelter
• breed knowledge
• do you have enough time for the breed of dog you are applying for?
If you and the dog get along, you have to option of taking the dog on the spot (at this time you will need to pay the full adoption price and sign the adoption agreement) You will then get a 2-week trial with the dog, during this time should things not work out you are to return the dog to Dusty Paws Dog Rescue. You will then receive a full refund; less $50 admin fee within 7 business days of the return of the dog.

Please also keep in mind that we are a volunteer run rescue which means we don’t have someone manning the phone 24/7, we all work full time jobs and get back to your calls and messages as soon as we can. We thank you for your time and patients with us.
