“ Henry is a lovely natured dachshund that loves his owner.
He will stick around like velcro and will always be happy to stay on your lap or help investigate in the garden.
If you work from home, he definitely requires his own bed right next to you to sleep in all day. We are still working on meeting new people, especially if they are coming into his space. Always will have to introduce slowly as he gets anxious and defensive. 
He does get along with smaller dogs and enjoys their company while you are away once he warms up. But he only copes with bigger dogs, so ideally small dogs only. 

Toilet trained (doggy door too) and loves his food, he would do anything for snacks to be trained. Not been checked with small children but will have to be a slow introduction.

We feel Henry would be better suited to retired person/couple with a quiet home where Henry can chill out and have his daily plays and walks.

He absolutely adores going for walks, so much that he grabs his own leash and takes it to the door once you get it out!”
