Meet Odin, an outgoing and enthusiastic dog with an exuberant love for life and a people-centric personality. He's the epitome of sociability, always eager to greet new faces with wagging enthusiasm, making him a warm and engaging companion for a household that loves interaction.

Odin is a strong and sturdy boy, best suited for a mature, dog-experienced household that's active and ready for adventure. While he radiates friendliness, his excitable nature and strength on the lead call for further training to ensure enjoyable walks and outings. As much as he's keen to explore new environments, Odin needs a capable handler to guide him through his energetic antics.

When it comes to interacting with fellow canines, Odin's rough-and-tumble playstyle can get ahead of his manners. Although he shows no signs of aggression, his exuberance may not be welcomed by all dogs. For this reason, his ideal home would either have a well-mannered, laid-back canine friend or perhaps none at all. Currently, Odin would appreciate avoiding dog parks or off-leash areas until he's more acquainted with the do's and don'ts of doggy etiquette.

Odin was happy to meet our facility cats. He showed some interest but became disengaged and moved away from them quickly. We believe that it may be possible for Odin to be housed with a dog social, confident cat.

Odin has a love for toys that rivals his love for people, often tucking them into bed with him after an engaging day of play and tug-of-war.

He has a basic understanding of commands such as 'sit' and 'shake' and is eager for further behavioral training, which will refine his manners. Odin is a non-fussy eater with a gentle demeanor, politely awaiting meals and treats.

Odin is a gorgeous white & white American Staffy born 25/6/2020. He is located at our Charmhaven Shelter. His $500 adoption fee covers microchipping, desexing, lifetime registration, current vaccination, flea and worming treatments 🐾
