To apply to adopt, please complete a SAFE Dog Adoption Enquiry Form as follows:

* On the SAFE website, simply click on 'Apply to Adopt'.

Adoption Fee: $500

Rufus is a big handsome boy at 40kg, and has a heart to match. He has a friendly nature, is smart with a cheeky streak, and just wants to stick by his humans whatever they are doing. He sleeps quietly all night in his bed and is toilet trained. Rufus is fostered on a family property with teenage kids and a female dog. He loves to play with his doggy friend although his play can get quite boisterous if unchecked, so he's probably best suited to living with a female dog of a similar age and size. He's untested with cats.

Rufus knows basic commands like sit and to wait for his dinner. He loves his toys! He is pretty good on the lead: recall can be a bit hit and miss but some training with food rewards will likely help. He travels well in the car. He can be a little timid with new people and places, so does need to expand his social life and get out and about regularly so that he becomes more relaxed. He is such a lovely doggo and just loves his people. He'd absolutely love a place where he could keep his family company.

ADOPTION DETAILS
Our adoption process includes a meet-and-greet with you (and any dog already in your household), a property check and a 2 week trial period to ensure your pup is the right fit for your home.

Adoption fee must be deposited electronically into our SAFE Bunbury bank account in full before adoption trial starts. SAFE Bunbury will arrange transfer of ownership on your pet's microchip once the trial period is completed.
