About Maximus
Meet Siberian Husky Maximus - ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?
I'm not the gladiator type, but I sure know how to entertain and shower you with affection! I'm Siberian Husky Maximus, a calm, older boy who loves to give out smooches and enjoy life's simple pleasures. I may be a big dog, but I'm gentle and walk beautifully on a lead. I'm great with other dogs and would love to share my home with a doggie companion. My ideal family is one that's laid-back, perhaps with experience with big dogs or huskies - I promise I'll be your loyal, calm companion for life.
Seeking a loving family that appreciates my easy-going nature and has the space and time to help me thrive. Whether you're relaxing on the couch or taking a leisurely walk, I'm ready to be right by your side. If you're looking for a husky with experience and a lot of love to give, look no further - I'm your guy!
If you're ready to welcome a sweet, calm, and affectionate boy into your family, I'd love to meet you! Let's make your home even warmer with my love. 🐾
To book a meet and greet with this gorgeous boy Max please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, Inquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
