Medical notes
Some of these girls will be missing feathers as well as laying at a low capacity. By increasing their protein intake and allowing them to happily free range you will start to see them improve with time.
As hens raised on egg farms are often kept in inadequate conditions, some may have health issues. These cases are a small percentage but please keep this in mind.
Our rescue hens shouldn't carry any parasites, but to protect your flock it is recommended that you treat your both your new and current flock upon arrival.
