About Huey
Huey is a 3 year old red and tan kelpie boy who loves long walks, napping on the verandah and snuggling; and while gentle is not shy about satisfying this desire.
This happy, chilled boy loves being around people collecting the pats, resting his chin on you or suggesting a belly rub by rolling over. For a kelpie he's a relaxed fella, happy lying around the home or office and simply being in your orbit.
Huey can sit, drop, wait, shake, is polite on stairs and is house/crate trained. His recall and loose lead walking is improving and he responds well to correction. He travels like a boss in the car and is ready to hop on the ute whenever asked. He learns and adapts to things quickly. He is gentle with children, approaching slowly for pats.
When meeting other dogs or cats he adopts the submissive approach. He's happy to hang at the back of the pack and follow the ball obsessed doggos or observe from beside the hooman. He would be happy in a home with or without another dog.
Huey seems to prefer a quieter laid back lifestyle and a rural location where he can potter about with you everyday would be his dream come true.
If you've been searching for a handsome, brown eyed, snuggler; Huey is ready to love and adore you forever.
Huey is located in NSW.
