About Henry
Meet Henry, a lively and lovable 2-year-old Cavalier x Beagle with plenty of personality. Energetic and full of life, Henry is known for his outgoing nature and endless curiosity. He’s happiest when he's with his brother Ace, and they share a strong bond, making the ideal home one where they can stay together. If Henry is to be rehomed separately, his new family will need to spend lots of time with him, as he experiences separation anxiety when left alone. Someone who works from home or who is always home would be ideal.
Henry's vibrant energy is contagious, and he brings joy wherever he goes. Despite his lively disposition, he is keen on learning. He enjoys exploring the world around him, and he's a little wary yet curious when encountering cats. While he loves being part of the action, he needs a bit more lead training to journey the world with ultimate control and confidence. He might jump up or get under your feet when he's excited, but with patience and training, he will surely become the perfect walking buddy.
Having Henry in your life means you’ll have a constant loyal companion who is eager to be at your side. With structured introductions, he can get along with other dogs, though perhaps Ace is his best buddy. Whether it’s a day filled with adventures or a cozy evening at home, Henry is ready to be a beloved family member, spreading happiness in each moment spent together.
Please note: Henrys adoption fee alone is $1200.00. If rehomed with his brother Ace, there will be an adoption fee of $2000.00 for the pair.
Medical notes
A small hernia was repaired at the time of desexing. No further treatment required
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
