About Amelie
Please meet our beautiful "Amelie"
This little girl is as cute as a button and although shy with new people she will love you with all her heart when she gets to know you. Amelie loves to go in the car on adventures to lots of fun places. She loves to go walking, sit at the lake and watch all the people and ducks, or pop out for a pup a chino.
Amelie is good with other dogs of all sizes and enjoys a fun puppy play date. She loves to play with toys and loves to have cuddles and pats from her people. You will need to have patience and allow Amelie to get to know you in her own time.
Amelie needs reminders to go out to the toilet but with consistent routine she will do well. She is a clever girl and knows how to sit on command, is crate trained, and walks well on lead.
As Amelie is a poodle mix you will need to be prepared to have her groomed every 8 weeks, you need to consider this cost prior to applying.
It is a condition in our adoption agreement that all our dogs are to be taken through obedience training to ensure they reach their full potential.

• You have a secure yard.
• Amelie will not be alone for more than 4hrs.
• You will enrol Amelie in obedience training.
• You will allow Amelie to be part of the family and will allow her access to indoors with you.
• You WILL provide her with daily exercise AND mental stimulation.
Applications with extensive details on the lifestyle you will offer will be considered. Please provide the name of the obedience club you will be attending.

Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
