Do you have what it takes to be adored by not just one, but TWO
delightful doggos?
Meet Annika and Oscar – the ultimate duo for anyone looking to upgrade
their life with a whole lot of love, loyalty, and just the right amount
of quirk.
💖 Annika is our real-life teddy bear (well, technically a Cavoodle).
This little lady is sweet as sugar and happiest when she's either in
your lap at home or at the cafe or anywhere you will take her. She's a
couch companion, a coffee date, and your number one fan. If you've ever
wanted a soft, sweet soul to binge-watch shows with or to lovingly judge
your latte art – she's your girl.
🐾 Oscar is the emotional genius of the pair – clever, expressive, and
undeniably handsome. He's the kind of dog that gives you everything:
loves his long walks/outdoor adventures and impressive tricks AND the
kind of cuddles that make you question how you ever lived without him.
He already knows how to balance a treat on his head and catch it like a
pro – but that's just the start. This boy thrives on learning, so
enrichment games, puzzles, and trick training will make his tail wag
with joy.
Oscar does come with a bit of spice: he's a work in progress when it
comes to other dogs on walks. Nothing dramatic – just a little vocal & a
little worried. With patience, consistency, and ideally a second pair of
loving hands, he'll soon learn that other dogs are just like him. For
that reason, it's best he goes for strolls without Annika sometimes.
👨🦳👩🦳 Who are we looking for?
The dream home is a calm, cozy environment – a multi person household
would be great so they each get their share of love and attention.
Annika and Oscar would love nothing more than to share their hearts and
their warmth with those who appreciate the little things in life – like
a perfectly timed head tilt or a cuddle after a walk.
💫 They don't need the chaos of a big household, just a kind one – with
at least two people to help Oscar continue to flourish and make sure
both get the love and attention they deserve.
They may not be "perfect" on paper – but they are perfect in all the
ways that matter.

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped,
wormed, and flea treated. All necessary vetwork such as dentals,
surgery, eye treatment are also carried out. We are no longer heartworm
testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If
a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer free assistance for six weeks for any issues, a lifetime takeback policy with full refund of the adoption fee, and will always be available to offer advice.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.

Commonly asked questions and their answers are provided when you email us. Unfortunately we usually will not have time to reply to enquiries in more detail and will give priority to completed applications over enquiries. Priority will also be given to typed applications which are easier for us to read and to copy relevant parts.
