About Robbie
Meet Robbie: A Senior Cat Ready for His New Adventure!
Are you looking for a laid-back companion who knows how to enjoy the quieter moments in life? Look no further than Robbie, a distinguished 10-year-old Domestic Short hair with a sleek black-and-white coat and a personality that's just as charming as his looks.
After years of dedicated postal service, Robbie is officially retired from his "Postman Pat" duties and is ready to relax in the comfort of a home where he can enjoy some well-deserved peace and quiet. He's done with the hustle and bustle of mail delivery, and now, he's seeking a cozy spot to call his own.
Robbie is a calm, affectionate senior cat who prefers a slower pace of life. He enjoys snuggling up in a comfy spot, getting some gentle pets, and savoring his time in the sun. Though he may have a bit of a "done with the office" vibe, Robbie is still full of love and attention for his new family. He would be happiest in a quiet, serene environment where he can enjoy his retirement years to the fullest.
Robbie is an ideal companion for someone looking for a low-maintenance cat who's happy to keep you company without the need for much running around. He's already a seasoned professional in the art of lounging, and he'd love to spend his days with you, basking in the glow of his newfound freedom.
If you're ready to give Robbie the peaceful home he deserves, he's waiting to meet you. Come say hello, and let this senior cat steal your heart with his gentle soul and well-earned wisdom!
To book a meet and greet with Robbie please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
